Welcome back and a few reminders and information

Posted Date: 8/15/25 (3:47 PM)

Dear Tuttle families,

Hooray, the start of the school year is almost here! We are so excited to have everyone back under our roof.

First, with a few exceptions of students who live close to Tutte, students have been assigned a bus stop. We encourage everyone to arrive at Tuttle by bus, as it helps students to shift into School mode and be ready for learning.  Since Tuttle is situated on a city block, we have very little room for drop offs/car riders. If you must drop off, there is only street parking on the neighboring streets (remember to cross at the crosswalk) and students will proceed to Tuttle picnic fence entrance. Pick up for students will be at the rear entrance to the gym, again, park on streets and walk up to sign out.

Tuttle School Hours

Tuttle hours are from 8:45 to 3:15, and students will be marked late if arriving after 9:00 (start of learning time). Students dropped off late will need to be signed in at the rear door. Please make every effort to have students at school on time. If a student needs to be picked up early, the appropriate time is between 2:45 and 2:55 pm, as students begin moving into homeroom settings at 3pm, and adults will then need to wait for children to be dismissed in the regular methods at 3:15.

School Dismissal

Our students are learning until the end of the school day (3:15). Please be mindful of early pick-ups and schedule appointments after school hours.  Families can log into PowerSchool to update emergency contacts and authorized adults for pick up.

  • Bus Riders:  Are escorted to their buses daily by our Tuttle Staff Members

  • Car Riders/walkers at rear doors
