The week in review

Posted Date: 10/03/25 (4:05 PM)

Dear Tuttle Families,
This was an amazing week! We did a full school assembly for all students and staff and introduced our yearly theme on the Energy Bus! Teachers have been reading to students about positivity, good energy to share with friends, and being the driver of your own bus and making positive choices. We also introduced our PBIS Positive Behavior and Instructional Supports. Individual classrooms and settings have determined how to support students, but also we showcased schoolwide supports and perks. There is an expectation that all students will be able to participate in the monthly perks, unless they have gotten three strikes within the month.
We are starting a new Positive Behavior and Interventions Support program school wide at Tuttle School. We read a book, The Energy Bus For Kids. It’s about a boy named George who is having a bad day. Then he gets on the bus and meets the bus driver “Joy.” Joy teaches George how to fuel his ride with positive energy. She teaches George 10 Rules for a positive journey. We too will practice those 10 Rules as we ride the bus, and at the end of the month we will be rewarded for staying on the bus all month. October’s perk is a movie with popcorn!

We are all working toward being positive Tuttle Turtles!

We also have two upcoming things: A McDonald’s loves Tuttle night on October 29th, see flyer below.
